.Abstract
Flying Ad Hoc Networks (FANETs) are critical for 6G-enabled applications, but existing frameworks often improve the positioning of UAVs, power control, or routing self-reliantly, which leads to a suboptimal performance. This paper presents FWSC-FANET, a Fig Tree–Wasp Symbiotic Coevolutionary Optimization framework, which equally optimizes adaptive power allocation, positioning of UAVs, and energy-aware routing. The mutualistic coevolution between “wasp” and “fig” agents confirms a balanced exploitation and exploration, enabling robust network operation under dynamic 3D mobility and changing channel conditions. Simulation studies, performed with varying UAV pause times, determine that FWSC-FANET outperforms state-of-the-art approaches, EAR-FANET [16] and DRL-FANET [17], reaching developments in network lifetime (296.4 minutes), packet delivery ratio (95.5%), throughput (17.5 Mbps), energy consumption (132.4 J), semantic accuracy (91.7%), and global fitness (0.862). These results confirm the effectiveness of FWSC-FANET for energy-efficient, resilient, and high-performance UAV networks.
